Playing with On Board Accents

Last week, I had a request to use On Board Accents at a hostess' stamping class... Here's the card that we made. It's certainly bright and cheerful! And, it's actually quite a simple card. To start, we got the On Board Accent piece ready by sanding off the little bits that are left after it is punched out. Then we used a sponge dauber dipped in Old Olive Craft Ink to add colour - you can use the Classic Inks for this too but the colour will not usually come out as vividly. We set that aside to dry while we worked on the rest of the card. The flowers are stamped on Whisper White card stock using the Sweet Stems stamp set. Then we used Cameo Coral, Rose Red and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers to colour them in. The Designer Series Paper is from the Raspberry Tart package. And, we finished it off with a greeting stamp from the Thank You Kindly set and piece of Old Olive 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.

There is still room in the upcoming Stamp-A-Stack - two seats are available for Friday, March 13th at 7:00 pm and there is lots of space for Saturday, March 14th at 9:30 am. Email (bevennis@shaw.ca) to register.

Happy stampin'!

Bev.
